CRANE WEIGHERS / SCALES

CRANE WEIGHERS.

Crane weighers or crane scales are to fit to overhead crane hooks to weigh the load being lifted. Crane weighers primarily have 2 functions, to give the weight of the load, and for safety, ensuring there is no overloading.

Load cells are designed to be integrated into lifting or pulling systems using shackles.

crane scales use hydraulic force to sense weight. The test force is applied to a piston or diaphragm and transmitted through hydraulic lines to a dial indicator or electronic sensor.

Crane weighers are often used in ports and shipping industries and production operations along with many other industries.

Over the coming weeks we will be listing a number of common crane weighers and load cells, along with their specifications, all of which we can supply to you.

LOADLINK PLUS

All load link plus units have push button control for: tare, units (kg,lbs,kN & tonnes)

This is the latest version with an integral display

• Features:
• Peak hold
• Preset tare
• Audible setpoint alarm
• Overload counter
• Remote RS422 output as standard, this will allow connection to our range of handheld displays or software
• All supplied in a storage carry case.

Available option; the handheld plus display unit will connect to the loadlink as a secondary display and controller

, powered by a pp3 battery, the handheld features tare, peak hold, and 4 units of measure.

 Can also be fitted with an RS485 output to enable connection to the desktop controller software package.
