JIB CRANES

Jib cranes are also called, swing jib cranes, slewing jib cranes, pillar jib cranes etc.

Jib cranes can be used in a wide range of operations, most often used in factories, industrial premises, dock yards, ships, construction sites and also on military vehicles to name but a few.

 Floor mounted jib cranes and wall mounted jib cranes are often used to cover specific work areas, making the lifting and moving of heavy loads safer, easier and quicker.

Jib cranes have 3 main characteristics, being that they always rotate, lift and lower loads and traverse the load (moving across the beam).

Jib cranes can be floor mounted, wall mounted and sometimes free standing.

Floor or foundation mounted jib cranes have higher load ratings than wall mounted jib cranes.

A cantilevered jib crane can have full or partial rotation.

We manufacture these jib cranes here in our workshop to suit your specific needs and our most competent staff can fit them for you. (for inside use)

Jib cranes are most often used along with electric hoists of which we can supply, new or often reconditioned, or manual hoists if required.

Our jib cranes can be wall or floor mounted with capacity ratings ranging from 50kg up to 5 tonnes, with a slewing range of 270 degrees, and are manufactured to BS standards.

There is also the option of isolator and festoon suspension brackets and wire if needed.
