Lifting Equipment LTD supplies a wide range of chain blocks to trade and industry, all providing excellent safety, quality and performance along with economical prices.
The Yale chain block models that we supply provice many benefits to the user, including: extremely low overall height and therefore permit the best possible use where headroom is restricted. Because the steel plate housing is robust and fully enclosed it may be used outdoors. The load and suspension hooks are drop forged and manufactured from high-tensile, non-ageing steel which will yeld if overloaded, not break. The hooks will be fitted with tough safety latches and can also rotate through 360 degrees. The link chain on these chain blocks are zinc plated alloy steel, and are in accordance with both national and international standards and regulations.
All of the chain blocks we supply use a braking system which are asbestos free friction discs; and come with a test certificate with serial number and user manual with EC declaration of conformity
Available in capacities from 500 up to 20,000Kg. The VS manual chain hoist has tough all steel construction, which comprises a roller / ball bearings fitted to all the rotating parts; these increase efficiency as the bearings reduce friction. The cover has special slots which together with the design of the chain wheel prevent the hand chain from de-railing and blocking. The hardened load chain sheave has 4 precision machined pockets. The VS chain block has 2 guide rollers and 1 chain stripper to ensure the correct alignment of the chain over the load sheave. All of the brake parts are made from zinc plated quality materials and in addition are chromalized for extra corrosion protection. We can also supply an optional chain container, to store surplus chain.

Available in capacities from 500Kg up to 20,000Kg. The revolutionary design of the 360 chain hoist provides the operator with the best possible safety, as well as a huge range of applications, all due to the new hand chain guide arrangement. The 360 degree rotating hand chain guide permits operation from nearly all positions, even within confined spaces. The 360 chain block is able to be operated from the side of the load as well as any other position, which includes pulling horizontally. The plane between the bottom and the top hook must always be in a straight line. Since this model provides much greater flexibility, the operator is able to work outside the hazard areas and therefore reducing the risk of injury. The new brake system eliminates the ratchet and pawl mechanism found on most other chain blocks and therefore results in much less maintenance.

Optional extras available on this unit

Both available in capacities from 500Kg up to 10,000Kg
The LHP and the KHG manual chain hoists provide extremely low headroom, making it the ideal choice if needed in low height areas. They are also able to adjust to fit a range of beam profiles
The chain guide and reeving system have been designed to permit the bottom block to be pulled side on to the hoist even further up and nearly against the bean flange.
All LH models up to a capacity of 3000Kg are supplied with a single fall chain
The near stepless adjustment system permits fast and easy assembly of the trolley. The wheels are designed for a maximum beam profile incline of 14% (DIN 1025-part1)
The steel wheels are machined and pre-lubricated, with encapsulated ball bearings, providing excellent rolling features
These hand chain hoists have anti-tilt and anti-drop mechanisms as standard
The trolleys are available for 2 beam ranges, 1: for a flange widthup to 180mm (standard) and covers 80% of requirements, 2: for beam width up to 300mm.
It is also possible for the yalelift 360 to be converted to incorporate an integrated trolley

Available in capacities of 1000Kg to 2000Kg.
The towerlift hoist is an overturned version of the 360 model, and is specifically designed to be used on traversing tower systems.
This manual chain hoist is supplied with a special chain guide and a totally enclosed housing. Black powder coated finish as standard

Available in a capacity of 1000Kg. The ES manual chain hoist is an enhancement of the standard towerlift. The chain reeving system has been designed specifically for use within the entertainment industry, i.e. on stage sets. This model can be used as a standard hoist, as well as in the up-turned configuration. The hoist is supplied with a revolving chain container which permits it to be used in both configuration. Black powder coated finish.

ITP with push trolley + ITG with geared trolley. Both available in capacities from 500Kg up to 5000Kg. The IT range of manual chain hoists is actually a mix of the 360 model with low headroom, and so provides even more flexibility. All models up to 3000Kg have a single fall chain, and the minimum headroom further reduced. The manual trolley adjusts to fit many beam profiles (IPE, INP, IPB) Also dependaent upon the beams flange width easy adjustment may be made up to 300mm. The trolleys wheels are designed for use on a maximum beam progile incline of 14%. Superb rolling features are assured via the encapsulated ball bearings, which are pre-lubricated. These modesl come with anti-tilt and drop mechanisms as standard. The 360 model can also be converted into an IT with integrated trolley easily if required.

Because of environmental influences corrosion begins on the surface, this in turn can affect the mechanical features of the chain block. Many components are supplied with a black finish, either un-machined, machined or painted, these offer some protection for a short time only, so the application of a protective coating can be beneficial depending on where it is used, this will in turn offer extended service life of the treated components.
The total corrosion resistance will encompass stainless steel chains and zinc plated units, they can be utilized in all conditions with increased needs of corrosion protection, such as in the food processing industry, farming and sewage treatment plants.
Within the chemical industry and many other industrial areas there is a risk that any spark could cause an explosion, and therefore deemed highly hazardous, there are stringent legal and technical requirements in place for these areas and should be strictly adhered to. All of the manual chain hoist featured can be supplied with all or any of the optional features listed below, the provide additional protection against sparking. Units, completely corrosion resistant. Stainless steel load or hand chain. Bronze plated suspension and load hooks. Solid bronze trolley wheels. Rubber buffers. Chain containers
FeaturesAll models of the Yalelift Vario programme can be provided with the following optional features for additional protection against sparking :

The overload programme device of the Yalelift Vario programme reliably prevents excessive load take-up of the hoist during operation. When reaching the pre-set overload value, the unit will jam and stop operation in the lifting direction. Lowering of the load is still possible at any time.
The overload protection devise provides additional safety with regard to possible false estimation of the load weight and thus increases the lifetime of the hoist. The new design principle of this lifting gear allows excellent adjustability and response.
Yale trolleys can be optionally provided with beam locking devices t secure the unloaded trolley in fixed position on the beam (park position e.g. on ships)

The chain containers for the Yalelift Vario programme consist of a robust, power-coated steel frame with a flexible chain bag made from high tensile Cordura textile fabric. Available in different sizes, special sizes on request.
